Welcome to the High Quality Individualized Education Program (IEP) Toolkit for Educators: Special Education Provider Edition. This toolkit is designed to support educators throughout the IEP process by providing a solid foundation for a "high-quality" IEP, with guidelines on how to achieve such for each student. It provides the foundations of special education law; strategies to use before, during, and after the IEP; a visual walkthrough of the recommended California IEP template; considerations for completing each section; and opportunities for future learning and reflection.
